PURPOSE:To improve lightfastness and to obtain gentle green coloring property by a method wherein at least one kind or over of specific triphenylmethane compounds are contained as coloring reacting substance. CONSTITUTION:Triphenylmethane compound to be expressed by the formula (1) is contained as coloring reacting leuco-pigment. In the formula (a), R<1> represents a 8 or less C alkyl group or alkoxyalkyl group, a 5 to 7 C cycloalkyl group, a halogen atom as substituent, a benzyl group having a 4 or less C alkyl group or alkoxy group, and a phenyl group, and X represents a hydrogen atom, a 8 or less C alkyl group or alkoxy group, a halogen atom as substituent, a benzyloxy group having a 4 or less C alkyl group or alkoxy group, and a halogen atom. This triphenylmethane compound colors green by coming in contact with electron accepting substance (a developer). Then it is of a gentle coloring property by coming in contact with phenolic substance, clay substance, etc. which are generally used for pressure sensitive copy paper and further, lightfastness of its colored image is excellent. |
