PURPOSE:To obtain an image having good contrast by mixing a specific aromatic compound and a substance having color erasing effect for a heat sensitive layer between two heat sensitive coloring layers of different coloring temperatures. CONSTITUTION:The upper layer of two heat sensitive layers which colors in different color tones at different coloring temperature contains as main ingredients colorless or pale leuco dye and an acidic substance. A substance having a color erasing effect for at least one heat sensitive coloring layer and an intermediate layer containing at least one of compounds represented by the formualI, where X signifies halogen, Y signifies alkylalkoxy, halogen, or benzyl, etc., n signifies 0-3, and m signifies 1-3, the formula II, where R1, R2 signify hydrogen, alkyl, or alkoxy group, and the formula III, where R3 signifies hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, or halogen, and R4 signifies alkyl, substituted or non-substituted alkaryl etc., are provided between the two layers, thereby enhancing the coloring property of the low temperature coloring layer. |
