PURPOSE:To eliminate malfunction or trouble by a method wherein notch grooves are formed on both axial ends of projections, provided on the outer periphery of the mold frame of a motor along the axial direction of the same, in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the motor while a temperature protecting device is fitted into grooves between the projections. CONSTITUTION:When the frame 8 of a motor is formed by winding coils around a stator core, not shown in a diagram, and molding the outer periphery of the motor with a resin, projections 9, axial grooves 2 and notch grooves 7 are formed at the same time. A temperature protecting device 3 is fitted into the axial grooves 2 while a temperature protecting device push plate 1 is mounted utilizing the notch grooves 7, orthogonal to the axial direction of the motor and provided on the projections at both ends of the axial grooves 2, so as to cover the temperature protecting device 3. According to this method, the temperature protecting device 3 is retained surely so as to be contacted with the frame of the motor closely by the resilient property of the temperature protecting device push plate 1 whereby the temperature of the coils, positioned immediately near the device, may be detected correctly. |
