<p>PURPOSE:To improve yield by providing an intermediate thermometer for strip on a run out table, mounting flow control valves on the banks between that intermediate thermometer and a finishing mill and controlling the temperature of strip with those flow control valves and the intermediate thermometer. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of the intermediate thermometer 9 for strip 1 which is provided on the run out table 3, the flow control valves 8, which are mounted on cooling banks 5 between the intermediate thermometer 9 and the finishing mill 2, are controlled. The temperature of the strip on the run out table 3 is cooled to the neighborhood of pearlite transformation temperature. The heated strip due to exothermic reaction that is occurred after that by that transformation is cooled with the banks following the intermediate thermometer 9 and the strip is coiled at a prescribed coiling temperature after the completion of transformation. Thereby, because the heating by transformation is occurred and completed before a thermometer 11 for coiling and the strip is coiled at the prescribed temperature, the crush of coil isn't occurred and yield can be improved.</p> |
