PURPOSE:To manufacture brush hair with excellent yielding percentage by irradiating laser beam at least on the lower end surface of bristle convergence body in the state of molding maintenance in a rectangular configuration similar to the area where transparent portion of mask is formed. CONSTITUTION:A laser 40 and the lower end surface of a bristle convergence body 8 are arranged so as to be able to irradiate laser beam onto the lower end 8a of a bristle convergence body 8. The bristle convergence body 8 is maintained in the state of molding in a rectangular shape with a molding mechanism 44 constituted with four clamp members 44a-44d on the front and rear portions and on the right and left portions. A mask 50 where a number of square-shaped slits 52 are formed in alignment like a chess board is arranged with a slight space on the lower end surface 8a of the bristle convergence body. When laser runs along slit lines, an area corresponding to the slit shape on the lower surface 8a of bristle convergence body is melted with laser beam, and a rectangular-shaped welding portion 32 is formed like a square-shaped chess board. If it is divided by each welding part 32, a brush hair 30, a bristle convergence body is obtained. |
