摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor having a high superconductivity critical current density by heat-treating a press-formed body forming an oxide superconductor by sintering at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:A press-formed body capable of forming an oxide superconductor by sintering is heat-treated at a temp. higher than the m.p. of the oxide superconductor to be obtained to obtain a desired superconductor. As a result, the intergranular bonding of the oxide superconductor is strengthened, and the bulk superconductivity critical current density is improved. In addition, the size and shape of the press-formed body (bulk material) are optionally changed. Namely, plate-shaped, wiry and cylindrical bodies or their arbitrary combination can be produced. The long-sized such as wiry, press-formed body, for example, is continuously passed through a calcining furnace and easily calcined.
