PURPOSE:To dissipate waves by breaking a phase of waves, by mounting a parapet to a top of a floating body, having a triangle section, and along a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:In case a floating body 1 is moored, mooring members 4 are attached to a front and a rear hook part 3, and are attached in the shape of ? to weights 5. The advancing waves run on a slope at the front side of the floating body 1, but can not keep on a phase up to the surface of the sea at the rear part because of a slope. The waves come downward with a somewhat time lag, and as a result, a sharp difference in phase is produced between the front and the rear of the floating body 1, which results in effectuating wave dissipation. Additionally, a parapet 2 prevents waves from riding over the floating body 1, which results in improving a wave dissipating effect. |
