PURPOSE:To make assembly easy and to prevent breakage caused by thermal distortion by specifying structure and installation of a cell. CONSTITUTION:Only one separator 4 is installed on only an oxygen electrode 2 side in a cell C, and an oxygen-containing gas passage 5 is formed between the electrode 2 and the separator 4. The cell C is arranged inside a fuel passage 9, and an oxygen gas supply passage 13 connected to the passage 5 is arranged in the lower part of the passage 9 and an exhaust passage 15 connect to the passage 5 is arranged in the upper part of the passage 9. The cell C is shrinkably installed by passing through partition walls 8a, 8b of the supply passage 13 and the exhaust passage 15. Since only one separator per cell is installed, assembly is made easy, and since the cell is shrinkably installed, breakage of the cell C caused by thermal distortion can be prevented. |
