摘要 In a process for measuring flow properties of free-flowing media, e.g., liquids, melts and viscous materials, in particular plastics, a measurement sample of the medium is introduced into a measuring cylinder (2, 3, 4) maintained at a given temperature and forced out of the cylinder through a nozzle (33) by means of a pressure piston (54). The fluidity of the sample is determined by measuring properties. A material identification (23) is entered and stored in a computer (7). The computer (7) controls a delivery device (1) and processing devices (17) for the measurement cylinder (2, 3, 4) stepwise so that the measuring cylinder (2) is placed in a charging station (17) where it is filled with the sample by means of a filling device (28, 30, 48, 50, 51). The measuring cylinder (2) is then conveyed to a measurement station (17) into which the pressure piston (54) is slid and a result is obtained by the computer (7) from measurement quantities (e.g., magnitude and duration of the displacement of the piston, nozzle pressure). The delivery device (1) then conveys the measuring cylinder to a cleaning station (17) where it is cleaned by a cleaning device (70, 77). During the next transport stage, it is conveyed to a charging station (17) where it is recharged. The computer (7) associates the material identification (23) input with the measurement result and emits it as a characteristic flow property of the material.
