PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary rear wheel steerig chiefly during straight running by performing the rear wheel steering only when the deviation of the car is outside the specified non-sensitive zone, and narrowing the width of this non-sensitive zone when the car speed is high from that when it is low. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism 1 to steer the rear wheels of a car is controlled by a means 3 on the basis of the car running condition sensed by a means 2. In this arrangement the car speed is sensed by a means 4 mounted on the means 2. The deviation of the car is sensed by a means 5 also mounted on the same means 2. The rear wheels are steered only when the sensed car deviation lies outside of the specified non-sensitive zone, and a part 6 mounted on the means 3 makes such a control that the non-sensitive zone is made narrower when the sensed car speed is over a certain value than when it is below the specified value. This prevents the rear wheels from being steered by a minute angle unintentionally chiefly during the straight running. |
