<p>Extraction process for Cu gp. metals - mainly Cu, Ni and Co to produce the molten metals or alloys, in which the starting materials in the oxide, hydroxide or hydrosilicate form are charged into a molten slag bath having a high magnetite content. The reduction reaction proceeds as follows:- 4Fe3O4 + 2CuO right arrow 6Fe2O3 + 2 Cu.</p> |
