PURPOSE:To obtain a toner compsn. having superior pressure fixability by incorporating a specified bifunctional amide monomer as a binder resin into a toner compsn. CONSTITUTION:A bifunctional amide monomer represented by a formula Y-R-Y (where Y is an amido group having at least one hydroxyl group as a substituent and R is a satd. or unsatd. cyclic group bonding Y's) is incorporated as a binder resin to obtain a toner compsn. having superior pressure fixability. Since at least two hydroxyl groups are present in one molecule of the amide monomer, chemical attraction to paper is increased and exfoliation at the interface between paper and a toner image can be suppressed. Exfoliation in a toner layer can also be suppressed because of the high aggregating power of the toner itself. Thus, the toner compsn. having superior pressure fixability. |
