PURPOSE:To suppress surge current of a filter circuit and to improve availability of the title inverter by closing a second switchgear and charging an inverter and a filter capacitor, then closing a first switchgear and connecting first and second resistors in parallel thereby achieving the function of filter circuit. CONSTITUTION:A second switchgear 10 is closed at time t=t2 and a filter capacitor 5 is charged through a first resistor 4a, while a DC capacitor 12 is charged through a parallel circuit of the first resistor 4a, a second resistor 4b and a filter reactor 6, and a reactor 8. First switchgear 7 is closed at time t=t3 to connect the first and second resistors 4a, 4b in parallel thus constituting a filter circuit 3, together with the filter capacitor 5 and the filter reactor 6, which is then connected with an AC power source 1 and functions as a filter. |
