PURPOSE:To copy an image in the center of a paper regardless of the size of an original at the time of performing one set double copying by providing a means for inputting the width of the original in an original scanning direction and a means for feeding the paper so that the first paper and the second paper may be centered with respect to the leading edge of respective images. CONSTITUTION:The width of the originals 2 and 3 of 2 pages which are set on an original platen is inputted by performing the input by an original width input means, for example, an original size detection sensor and ten keys and the input of coordinate by a tablet. A point delayed from the leading edge 5a of the image on the first page by the amount of the width of the original is the leading edge 6a of the image 6 on the second page on the photosensitive body 7. The first paper and the second paper are fed to be centered with respect to the leading edges 5a and 6a of the respective images by a paper feeding and centering means. In the case of feeding and centering the paper, the paper is fed so that the images 5 and 6 may be positioned in the center of the paper 8. Even in the case of the original of an off-specification size, the copied image is not one sided on the paper and a copy which looks better is formed. |
