The hollow or solid, cylindrical reel (1) on or off which wire is wound, with or without glass fibres, insulation etc., is in at least two compartments (2,3,4) and has concentrically disc-shaped flanges (5,6) dividing the reel compartments (3,2,4). Each reel-compartment has a transfer roller (10,11,12). USE/ADVANTAGE - Multiple wires are more easily wound at the same time by having separate compartments in the reel.
