PURPOSE:To make it possible to compression-mold the resin in a cavity by operating a mold by a method wherein a mold operating member consisting of elastic alloy, which is compression-deformed by external pressure and restored by the removal of the pressure, is provided between a mold clamping ram and a movable part. CONSTITUTION:A mold clamping member 13 made of shape memory alloy is provided so as to come into contact with both a mold clamping ram and an adjusting member 14 in order to be compression-deformed by being applied with axial pressure. By filling resin in a cavity part 9 through injection, the resin pressure is transmitted through the adjusting member 14 to a mold operating member 13, resulting in compression-deforming the mold operating member 3. Through said deformation, a movable platen 2 retreats until an adjusting ring 13 comes into contact with the end of the ram so as to open a movable mold 8 in order to increase the volume of the cavity. After the filling, the resin 18 is cooled by a mold and solidified and shrunk, resulting in acting to restore the original form of the pressurized mold operating member 3. Thus, in this time, the volume of the cavity is reduced, resulting in compressing the resin 18. |
