PURPOSE:To facilitate the outflow of a reducing soln. and the distinction of a reduced part by specifying the compsn. of the reducing soln. CONSTITUTION:This reducing soln. contains the ferric chelate compd. (A) of aminopolycarboxylic acid, a complex forming agent (B) and a dye (C) or may further contain a pH buffer and preservatives. The ferric chelate (salt) of 1,3- propanediaminetetraacetic acid may be used as the component A, sodium thiosulfate as the component B and a compd. represented by formula I as the component C. A photosensitive material for a photomechanical process using silver halide contg. silver iodide, etc., is exposed and developed and a formed silver image is retouched by reduction with this reducing soln. |
