METHOD FOR PRODUCING OF ELECTROCONDUCTIVE POLYACRYLNITRILIC FIBRES

This method is an application for the textile industry. It is used to achieve high and stable electroconductivity levels of the prepared modified polyacrylo nitrile fibres. The method involves treating hot-extruded gelatinous polyacrylonitrile fibres in an aqueous solution of nickel salt, thermally fixing the same at an elevated temperature, 70-80 degrees C, treating the fibres once again at an elevated temperature in an aqueous solution containing appropriate amounts of nickel salt, reducers and a complex-forming agent until the boiling point is reached, and subsequent washing with warm and cold water.
