<p>PURPOSE:To provide a wide-range adjustability for the light quantity of a light emitting element and the gain and absorb dispersion of the sensitivity by setting the cough pressure, stopping the rise of cough pressure temporarily with this set value, holding the pressure, and adjusting the light quantity and gain so that the amplitude of pulsed wave lies within the specification values when the pressure value is in Hold condition. CONSTITUTION:When an adjust pressure value is fed in, the pressure value is accommodated in an adjust pressure register 11a, and a quick exhaust valve 4 and a fine exhaust valve 5 are shut followed by driving of a pressure pump 3. When the cough pressure has attained the set value, this pressure pump 3 is stopped temporarily, and the light quantity and the gain are adjusted. Thereafter the pressurization is resumed. Checking is conducted whether the pressure value P is identical to the set value, and if yes, the pressurization pump 3 is stopped. The fine exhaust valve 5 is opened. This actuates the measuring process, and the cough pressure decreases at a constant speed. Meantime the data processing is conducted by function blocks, and the max. and min. blood pressures are measured. An LCD 14 displays the measured max. blood pressure value, mean blood pressure value, and min. blood pressure value, while a tone signal is passed to a buzzer 15.</p> |
