PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost by transferring an image recording material electrostatically, and transferring and recording an image on an optional recording medium thermally. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a transfer means 1 for transferring the image recording material 5 to an endless belt 7 electrostatically and selectively, a fixing means 6 which transfers and fixes the image recording material 5 while putting the endless belt 7 and an optional medium 3 to be recorded one over the other, a conveying means 2 which conveys the image recording material 5 up to a transfer mechanism for transferring the image recording material 5 to the endless belt 7, and a sticking means 42 which sticks the image recording material on the conveying means 2. Then the recording material is stuck and applied electrostatically over the entire surface of the conveying means 2 and then transferred the recording material 5 by the transfer means 1 selectively to the endless belt 7 to form an image, and the fixing means 6 transfers the image to the optional recording medium. Consequently, toner is usable without any waste and the running cost is reduced. |
