PURPOSE:To enhance image density and to improve fine line reproducibility and gradation characteristic by providing a specific grain size distribution. CONSTITUTION:The nonmagnetic capsule toner particles having <= 5 mum grain size occupy 12 to 60 number % of the particle group and the nonmagnetic capsule toner particles having 8 to 12.7 mum grain size occupy 1 to 33 number % of the particle group. The nonmagnetic capsule toner particles having >=16 mum grain size are below 2.0 vol. % of the particle group and the volume average grain size of the particle group is specified to 4 to 10 mum. The nonmagnetic capsule toner having the high image density and the excellent fine line reproducibility and gradation characteristic is obtd. in this way. |
