The viewing spectacles are altered in dependence on the orientation of the head, provided by a sensor (11), using optical imaging elements (4). The images are provided by transparent image supports illuminated from behind via respective point light sources (1), each carrying a large number of different images, corresponding to respective viewing directions. Pref. each image support comprises a film which is adjusted in position relative to the point light source (1) in dependence on the orientation of the head provided by the sensor (11). Alternatively the image support is provided by a liquid crystal display. ADVANTAGE - Viewed stereoscopic image is varied for each viewing direction.
