PURPOSE: To enable a solar battery to additionally function, besides a function as power source by arranging the power generating solar battery just under a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: The container 1 of the device is provided with an opening 3 and this opening 3 is closed with a glass plate 2. A liquid crystal display device(LCD) 4 is arranged under the glass plate 2. This liquid crystal display device is suitable for back illumination and the solar battery 5 is disposed just under the liquid crystal display device. Thus, occupancy space is made small, but the solar battery can not be seen from the outside. Further, the solar battery can be protected and used as reflection clothing for the liquid crystal display device. |
