PURPOSE:To form a resin-coated metal, on which a character, a figure, etc. are printed firmly, by shaping constitution in which a printed layer is protected by a fluoroplastic film. CONSTITUTION:An ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene group copolymer, etc. are cited as fluoroplastics, and the ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene group copolymer is particu larly preferable. The melt flow index of a solid matter is adjusted to 30-300 in ink used for forming a printed layer 3, and the ink is mainly composed of resin, a solvent, a thixotrope, and pigment or dye, a fluoroplastic film having a thickness of 5-100mum is employed, and the thin-film of a resin composition having a thickness of 1-100mum is used as a screen employed for screen printing. The surface of the fluoroplastic group film is activated previously so that the wetting index of the surface is brought to 35 dyne or more through corona discharge treatment, etc. Printing may be conducted onto the fluoroplastic film through screen printing. The film, on one surface of which the printed layer 3 is shaped, is superposed onto the surface of a metallic plate 1, to which specified surface treatment is executed, while the printed layer 3 is directed inward, and the film is heat-fused through heating at a fixed temperature of 260-360 deg.C. |
