PURPOSE:To expand a detecting range by integrating a laser beam center and a picture detecting part center in a laser beam machine provided with a work table and a work head. CONSTITUTION:In the laser beam machine 1, the work table 5 on the base 3 can move freely in the direction of y-axis, a work W held by a clamp device 7 is mounted on a carriage 9 capable of moving in the x-direction and the work W can move freely on the x-y surface. On one hand, the work head 15 on the front end part of an overhead beam 13 of the rear column 11 of the base 3 can move front and rear in the direction of y-axis and up and down and the picture detecting part 17 is provided so that it can move freely vertically on the rear side of the work head 15 on the line along which it moves front and rear. In this way, there is no dead zone not to be detected and the detecting range can be expanded. |
