An aqueous cleaning compositiion suitable for hard surfaces contains ammonia or an alkanolamine having a boiling point below 200 DEG C at atmospheric pressure, plus a cationic polymer having a molecular weight over 5,000, in an aqueous system containing an organic solvent which has a boiling point below 200 DEG C at atmospheric pressure; preferably with at most a limited amount of surfactant and other materials which do not boil below 200 DEG C at atmospheric pressure. |
