<p>A hose winding device comprises a planar rectangular support (1) lying on the ground. A turntable (19) and three guide rollers (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b) are rotatably mounted in the upper surface of the support. The hose (shown by a dotted line (20)) passes between the first and second guide rollers (3a, 3b, 5a, 5b) which are sufficiently close to wring the hose (20) as it passes therethrough and to break the momentum of the male hose coupling as the hose is wound in. The female hose coupling (21) is held firmly in a coupling socket (22, 23) and extends upwardly from the turntable (19) to allow the hose (20) to be wound therearound.</p> |
