PURPOSE:To crumble a remaining developer and to excellently carry and recover it by giving vibration to a developer which resides between a carrier member and an image carrier by a vibration giving means. CONSTITUTION:A visible image formed on the circumference of a photosensitive drum 11 is transferred to a recording sheet, and after that, untransferred toner (t) remaining on the photosensitive drum 11 is scratched off by the cleaning blade 14 of a cleaning device 12, and removed from the circumference. The scratched off toner (t) is carried and recovered by a carrying screw 16. While it is carried and recovered, the wire rod 21 of the vibration giving means 18 rotates together with the rotation of the carrying screw 16, and the vibration is given to the toner (t) which is going to reside. Thus, even if the toner (t) resides, it is crumbled and carried. |
