PURPOSE:To accurately inspect numbers of bacterium in fibers such as roller towel without damaging fiber by sandwiching the fibers with a vessel containing sterilized water and lid body having an extruding part in ensured internal space, shaking the vessel and lid body to extract the bacteria and detecting bacterial numbers in the extracting liquid. CONSTITUTION:Part of fibers 8 to be inspected is sandwiched with a vessel 2 containing a sterilized water 4 and lid body 6 having an extruding part 10 extruded inside the vessel 2 so that space between a fiber 8 in which fibers 8 having definite area are taken in the vessel 2 and inner wall of vessel 2 and space 12 between fiber 8 and lid body 6 are ensured and sterilized water 4 is provided between both spaces 12 and 14 and vessel 2 in which the fiber 8 is sandwiched and lid body 6 are shaken to extract bacteria in the fiber 8 into sterilized water 4 and bacterial numbers in the extracting liquid are inspected simply to inspect bacterial numbers in fibers 8. |
