PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent special reproduction picture quality without dither, by reproducing the same field through alternate switching of pickups as equal number as the number of fields. CONSTITUTION:A signal recorded on a video disc 2 is reproduced from pickup heads 5 and 6 and applied to a changeover switch 7. Further, the signal is inputted to a demodulator 8, inputted to a synchronizing separator 9 and a television receiver 4 and reproduced. At special rproduction, a signal from the pickup heads 5 and 6 is alternately applied with the switch 7 by the synchronizing separator 9, and only the signal of the same field on the same track is reproduced and inputted to the demodulator 8. Further, the signal is inputted to the television receiver 4 to obtain the reproduced screen. Thus, the field still can be made and an excellent picture quality without dither can be obtained. |
