PURPOSE:To speed up continuous printing by providing a reserve sheet amount changing means for changing the reserve sheet amount by means of a reserve sheet feeding means according to the size of a sheet being fed in the direction of feeding the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A reserve sheet amount changing means 22 changes the reserve sheet amount by means of a reserve sheet feeding means according to the size of a sheet to be fed in the direction of feeding the sheet to hold the gap between the preceding sheet and the following sheet to a minimum of need. Continuous printing can thus be speeded up. |
