PURPOSE:To easily detect a body even when its background light is intense and even a body like an electric conductor by irradiating the body with light pulses and scanning the body and separating reflected light by a spectral means and a time-series segmentation means. CONSTITUTION:An information control means 28 controls a laser light scanning means 12 and a pulse laser light source 10t irradiate the background including the body 16, thereby making a zigzag scan from above. Then the reflected light is converged by a condenser lens 18 and separated by the spectral means 20 only within the wavelength range of the irradiating light pulses. Further, the time-series segmentation means 22 separates the reflected light in time series according to generation time information on the light pulses. Thus, the reflected light from the body 16 is separated from the background light efficiently and converted photo-electrically by a multichannel plate photoelectron multiplier tube 24 to detect the body even when the background light intense. |
