PURPOSE:To recover performances of catalyst in a short time to the level of new catalyst by removing poisoned matter which adheres on the catalyst or intrudes and accumulates therein, with using ultrasonic wave generated from ultrasonic generators disposed on the opposite sides of inner walls of a cleaning tank. CONSTITUTION:When a catalyst 2 shows low performances in a gas treatment process, the catalyst is transferred from the treatment device to a cleaning tank 1 to clean it and to recover the performances. In this cleaning process, ultrasonic wave from ultrasonic generators 3 disposed on the opposite sides of inner walls of the tank 1 removes poisoned matter which has adhered, intruded and accumulated in the catalyst. Thus, the catalyst can be recovered in a short time almost to the level of new catalyst. |
