The moulding machine incorporates two arms 1 and 2 carrying the corresponding moulds 3 of the castings to be obtained, which arms are mounted in a rocking unit (block) 4, the positioning of said unit 4 being established by a hydraulic cylinder 8. The arm 1 is fixed and the arm 2 is movable, the latter being articulated on the vertical shaft 9 and its positioning is determined by the hydraulic cylinder 10 also linked to the actual rocking unit 4. The machine has hydraulic cylinders for actuating the various parts and components and also ends of travel and microswitches for carrying out all the movements, cooling of the moulds taking place in the liquid contained in a tank 25 provided below the chassis 7 of the machine. The machine is especially designed for moulding castings using the casting (pouring) technique, i.e. by pouring molten material into the mould. <IMAGE>
