Sealing strip for glass window in wooden window frame

The gap between the glass pane and the wooden frame of a window is sealed with a sealing strip of resilient material. The sealing strip is of a T shaped cross-section with the horizontal bar of the T forming two sealing lips (7,8) which seal against the glass (11) and the window frame (13) respectively. Additional sealing lips (3,4,5) project from each side of the vertical bar of the T. Two of the spaces (10) between the sealing lips are filled with putty or master before the seal is fitted in place. The surface of the putty or mastic may be coated with adhesive.
