<p>Improved expression of tPA in mammalian cells is achieved employing a promoter region functional in a mammalian cell with a DNA sequence coding for tPA, where the sequence is interrupted by at least one intron. Particularly, a viral promoter is employed in conjunction with a hybrid gene having portions of the coding sequence uninterrupted by introns as compared to the wild-type gene and coding sequences interrupted by introns or the wild-type gene or mutants thereof.</p> |
