The present invention provides a heating apparatus comprising a heat rotary member (1); a heater (8) arranged in the heat rotary member along a rotation center line thereof, which heater has low heat-conductive base members (18, 19) at its both ends; and a holder member (17) for holding at least one of the base members; the one base member (19) having an outer configuration larger than that of the other base member. The heater can be inserted into and removed from the heat rotary member along the rotation center line without removing the holder member (17) from the heater (8).
