PURPOSE:To prevent delay of drying operation, grain quality degradation, and the generation of husks crack by installing such devices that provide automatic re-ignition function in case of extraordinary combustion shutdown of a hot air generating device and operation stop function in case of impossible re- ignition. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 1 for grain water content, a flame sensor 2 detecting burning flame of a hot air generating device, a hot air temp. sensor 3, an ignition circuit 4 of the hot air generating device, and a control device 8 are installed. Grain water content is measured at a specified time interval during drying operation and grain is dried to keep a specified weight reduction ratio by drying. The hot air generating device is controlled to ensure stable burning with reduced fuel supply quantity and air blasting quantity for a specified time after ignition. If an extraordinary combustion shutdown takes place in the hot air generating device, reignition is automatically carried out by a control program stored in ROM 18 of a processor 14 of the control device 8 and burning condition is restored and normal condition is quickly recovered. Delay of drying operation and grain quality degradation are prevented and if re-ignition is impossible, operation is stopped and the generation of husks crack is prevented. |
