PURPOSE:To miniaturize a color image recorder and to reduce the cost thereof by using a laser light source which can simultaneously project laser beams corresponding to R exposure, G exposure and B exposure and a rotary polygon mirror whose one surface, at least, has different reflection spectral characteristic. CONSTITUTION:The recorder is constituted of the laser light source 12 which can simultaneously project the laser beams corresponding to the red R exposure, the green G exposure and the blue B exposure and the rotary polygon mirror 14 whose one surface, at least, has different reflection spectral characteristic. The laser beams having wavelengths corresponding to R, G and B exposure respectively are separated from the laser beams projected from the laser light source 12 and a recording material A is successively exposed by one color with one scanning line, then a full color image is exposed with three scanning lines. Thus, an optical axis aligning means for the respective R, G and B laser beams is not needed and the small-sized and inexpensive color image recorder is obtained. |
