The location and quantification method consists, in the first place, in positioning a checking frame 10, placed or fixed on the part 20 to be examined, between the source 0 and the receiver 30. This checking frame 10 includes conspicuous points arranged three dimensionally, which are printed on the film positioned in the receiver 30. From two separate observations or exposures, a note is made on the negative of coordinates of the conspicuous points on the checking frame 10, and, by calculation, the site of the emission source 0, then the coordinates of a possible single point observed on the object 20, are determined, which coordinates correspond to the smallest distance separating the pseudo-rays brought from the emission source 0 to the said single point. The location process is associated with a set of means comprising a microcomputer, coupled to a coordinate and/or density plotting table, calculating programmes and simulation programmes, for assistance in advance with plotting the three-dimensional reproduction (location and/or quantification) and printing the results with a graphics plot. The invention finds its application in the industrial and medical field. <IMAGE> |
