The invention relates to a method for construction of a plant U1 for multilayer printed circuits. The initial line LI includes in series the machines intended for implementing the process for preparing the internal layers of the printed circuits. The final line LF includes in series the machines for finishing the outer layers of the printed circuits. The initial line LI and final line LF are parallel and run in opposite directions and are situated inside the plant U1 in such a way that the inlet E1 of the initial line LI is adjacent to the outlet S1 of the final line LF and constitute a primary building area BP. An intermediate loop B2 connected via its ends to the initial line LI and final line LF includes the machines implementing the wet manufacturing process and in particular the chain for electroless copper deposition and the chain for galvanisation of the lead tin and constitutes a secondary building area BS. A central space L is formed between the initial line LI and the final line LF and protects the non-functional departments 90, 92, ... The invention permits a reduction in the costs of building the plant and in the operating costs.
