POLYPEPTIDE CAPABLE OF BONDING TO IMMUNOGLOBULIN FC FRAGMENT AND HAVING LUCIFERASE ACTIVITY

PURPOSE:To obtain a fused protein for a labeled 2nd antibody having high sensitivity and short determination time by collecting a polypeptide capable of bonding to the Fc fragment of an immunoglobulin and having luciferase activity from a specific culture product. CONSTITUTION:The objective polypeptide can be produced by culturing a transformant containing a specific recombinant plasmid (M) and collecting a polypeptide capable of bonding to the Fc fragment of an immunoglobulin and having luciferase activity from the culture product. The recombinant plasmid (M) is produced by using a gene coding a polypeptide having a specific DNA sequence containing the fragments of formula I or formula II as a part thereof and integrating the gene into a plasmid of E.coli. The fused protein has short enzymatic reaction time compared with a peroxidase protein A commercially available as a labeled 2nd antibody.
