The present invention relates to soft magnetic ferrous materials of an iron base, having high magnetic permeabilities. The ferrous materials are composed of basic pure iron contents and Al: 0.5 to 2.5%, and T: 0.005 to 1.0% as required, having ferrite crystal grain diameters of more than 0.5 mm, showing magnetic flux density in 0.5 Oe of more than 11000 G under a condition that lattice strains are all removed, magnetic flux density in 25 Oe of more than 15500 G, and a coercive force of not more than 0.4 Oe.
