LUMBER MOISTURE CONTENT SORTER A method and apparatus determining the moisture content of the piece of wood by sensing the volume of the piece of wood, measuring its weight and based on its species determining the percent moisture. Preferably, the pieces of wood will then be sorted on the basis of moisture content and dried using drying cycles keyed to moisture content.
