PURPOSE:To reduce the useless repetitive transmission by adding a 1-bit standby signal comprising of '0' and '1' alternately to each packet sent from a 1st station, allowing a 2nd station receiving the packet to detect the standby signal added to each packet and applying retransmission request to the 1st station when the standby signal is not alternately received. CONSTITUTION:A standby signal detection circuit 15 detects whether or not '0' and '1' is alternately and repetitively sent in the sent standby signal during the reception and when the repetition of '0' and '1' is disturbed, it is informed to a CPU 17. Then a retransmission request signal generating circuit 23 and a radio transmitter 24 are started from the CPU 17 and a retransmission request signal is sent from a 2nd station to a 1st station. Thus, when the repetition of the standby signal of the received packet is disturbed, the retransmission request signal is immediately sent, then useless repetitive signal transmission is minimized.
