摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To decrease the tension disturbance to a plate thickness control of a rolling mill and to improve the plate thickness accuracy by bringing a speed of a pinch roll driving motor for giving tension to a material to feedback control, based on material real tension of the entry of a pinch roll. CONSTITUTION:From a horizontal load F which a pinch roll receives from a material 2, the feeding-out direction theta of its material and tension T between the pinch roll 3 and a mandrel 4, material real tension Tf of the entry of the pinch roll is derived by an operation. A tension controller 11 supplies such a rotating speed as the material real tension Tf derived in such a way is brought close to a target tension set value to a pinch roll driving motor 3A from a speed controller 5. In such a way, this controller operates so as to maintain the material real tension Tf in the target tension set value. Accordingly, tension is scarcely varied between the rolling mill and the pinch roll, and prescribed tension can be obtained.</p>
