The watch display includes an hour indicator (4) comprising a conventional clock dial with the numbers 1-12 around, but with the index marker being formed by a further small disc (6). This latter disc comprises the minute indicator, and is mounted about an axis (x) which is eccentric w.r.t. the hour indicator. The minutes are indicated by a pointer which rotates within the small disc (6) once per hour, whilst the whole disc moves around the face of the hour indicator once per twelve hours.
