PURPOSE: To surely determine the absolute concentration of sample components by installing an apparatus which vacuum introduces a sample solution into a separation column. CONSTITUTION: Compliant pressure difference is so applied to a separation column 114 as to introduce a sample solution 104 into the separation column 114 during the time when an inlet end of the column 114 is in the sample solution 104. The characteristic of the pressure difference in reference to time is so selected as to introduce a desiring volume of the sample solution 114. That is, the pressure and the time to be taken for injection of the sample solution 104 are so controlled as to introduce the right volume of the sample solution 104 into the column head 144. The pressure and the time for that are controlled at sufficiently high precision as to give within 5%, preferably 1%, of the precision of measurement in the partial different conditions by the volume. Moreover, the pressure difference is set to be sufficiently low and the time is set to be sufficiently long, so that proper allowable velocity for introduction of the sample solution 104 is provided. |
