PURPOSE:To accumulate toner efficiently in a waste toner box by providing a first screw cam which carries the toner removed by a cleaning member placing a second screw cam and a regulation member, which regulates the freely moving toner, in the waste toner box. CONSTITUTION:The toner 16 removed by the cleaning member 4 from a photosensitive body 1 is carried in its axial direction by the first screw cam 5, collected at a recovery port of the waste toner box 12, and sent to the waste toner box 7. In the box 7, there are provided the second screw cam 6 and the regulation member 11 which regulates the freely moving toner in the carrying direction (the direction of an arrow C), and the inside of the box 7 is divided into plural rooms. The toner 16 is accumulated in the left-most room by the regulation member 11. When the room is filled with the toner, the following rooms are filled in order with the toner by the rotation of the second screw cam 6, shown by the arrow C. Thus, the toner 16 is accumulated stably and surely in the waste toner recovery container 7. |
