<p>PURPOSE: To enable a marked place of a document to be copied without disturbing the structure of the document by providing a copying method with a step for determining whether or not the marked contents and saved tag disturb the structure of the target location. CONSTITUTION: The contents of marked sections in a structured source and document are examined to determine what starting point tag p and terminating point tag /p do not agree with each other, that is, one of a pair of tags which is not contained in the mark. The starting point tag p whose terminating tag /p is not marked and the terminating point tag /p whose starting tag p is not marked are saved for the purpose of verification by referring to the contents of the mark. When a lacking starting point tag P and terminating point tag /p are determined, verification is executed for determining whether the lacking starting point tag p, the contents of tag, and the lacking terminating point tag /p can be added to the target location without disturbing the structure of the target document. Thus, excellent copying of marked section can be executed.</p> |
